The partnership has already delivered free vision screenings, health fairs, and resources, with another free community vision screening scheduled for August 22, 2026 to continue removing health barriers for local students.

Three Arrested Following Mall Fight And Attempted Carjacking In Victorville (vvng.com) — Apple Valley residents may want to know that a 19-year-old from town was among three men arrested after a fight at Victor Valley Mall allegedly escalated into an assault and attempted carjacking at Palmdale and El Evado Roads in Victorville. Deputies say the group followed a driver, pulled the victim from a vehicle, and resisted arrest before being booked into the High Desert Detention Center.
