Barks & Boos Fundraiser In Arcadia To Benefit Pasadena Humane And Arboretum Foundation

ARCADIA, CA — Barks & Boos will bring dogs, craft beer and Halloween festivities to the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden on Saturday in a fundraiser benefiting Pasadena Humane and the Arboretum Foundation.

The event will feature adoptable pets from Pasadena Humane, food trucks, beer from The Mt. Lowe Brewing Company, vendor and informational tables, free dog portraits and a garden stroll for leashed dogs. Canine visitors also can test their skills on an agility course.

A dog costume contest will begin at 2:30 p.m., with owners encouraged to coordinate Halloween costumes with their pets.

Dogs must remain leashed and are restricted to paved paths and grass fields. Owners must clean up after their pets, organizers said.

A $10 fee applies to each dog, with proceeds benefiting Pasadena Humane and the Arboretum Foundation. Non-members also must purchase admission for each human guest.
