Planned for completion in 2027, the four-building community will sit on 0.63 acres and offer convenient access to Arcadia's shopping, dining, entertainment, and major transportation routes across the western San Gabriel Valley.
   

2. Rebuilding Eaton Canyon Nature Center: LA County seeking donations to plug cost gap (sgvtribune.com) — Arcadia residents can join an Oct. 7 "From Ashes to Action" panel at the Los Angeles County Arboretum on Baldwin Avenue, supporting plans to rebuild Eaton Canyon Nature Center. County officials are seeking donations to close a roughly $16 million funding gap, aiming to create a more fire-resilient building that restores easy nature access for families across the region.
   

3. Finalists Selected for the Pasadena Tournament of Roses 2027 Rose Court (crescentavalleyweekly.com) — Arcadia residents can cheer on several Arcadia High School students named finalists for the 2027 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Rose Court, a prestigious regional honor. Twenty-eight young women from 41 area schools are competing for seven spots, which include scholarships, public speaking training, and major roles in the 2027 Rose Parade and Rose Bowl festivities.
   

4. Racing hearts: Meet the Santa Anita Park workers who found love on the track (abc7.com) — Arcadia's Santa Anita Park isn't just about horse racing—it's also where longtime employees Annie and Raul Gutierrez built a decades-long romance and family career. As another racing season approaches, the couple reflects on growing up at the track, working side by side, and welcoming fans back with free admission and general parking on Fridays during the Autumn Meet.
   

5. Imagination returns in G2 Santa Anita Sprint (pastthewire.com) — Santa Anita Park in Arcadia hosts the Grade II $200,000 Santa Anita Sprint Championship on Sunday, with defending winner Imagination returning for trainer Bob Baffert. Local racing fans can also watch top sprinters Listenupshance and Maximum Bourbon vie for a fees-paid berth in the $2 million Breeders' Cup Sprint at Keeneland on Oct. 31.
