• Calaveras County promoter Nola Rasberry retires (calaverasenterprise.com) — A beloved Calaveras County promoter who once lived in Arnold is retiring from her regular role at the Calaveras Visitors Bureau after more than a decade of greeting and guiding tourists. She reflects warmly on Arnold’s logging history, nearby Big Trees, Natural Bridges, and other local attractions, and plans to keep volunteering a few hours a week to keep sharing her deep knowledge of the area.

  • On Saturday the "Seasons in the Woods" event starts at 10 am in the Independence Hall on the way to White Pines Lake.
