• Lawsuit alleges ongoing stormwater violations at California quarry (stormwater.com) — A federal lawsuit claims the A.R. Wilson Quarry in Aromas has repeatedly violated the Clean Water Act by discharging polluted stormwater into the Pajaro River over more than 1,000 days. Environmental groups say overflowing wastewater during heavy rains sends metals like aluminum and iron downstream, and they’re pressing the company to improve monitoring and storage at the 438-acre site.
