Beaumont Announces 5 Seats Open For Upcoming Election
The nomination period for incumbents will begin July 13.
BEAUMONT, CA — The City of Beaumont announced it has five positions open for contest in November's general election.
Three city council seats, as well the city clerk, and the city treasurer positions will be available this year, the city announced on Tuesday.
To qualify for candidacy, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and reside within the city limits.

The nomination period will begin July 13.
Incumbents will have until Aug. 7 to file their election candidacy forms. The nomination period will be extended to Aug. 12 if an incumbent does not file by the deadline, the city said.

The general municipal election will be held Nov. 3.
