Silver Alert Issued For At-Risk Elderly Man Last Seen In RivCo

RIVERSIDE, CA — A Silver Alert was activated for an at-risk 76-year-old man who was last seen in Riverside, authorities said Friday.

Miguel Peraza was last seen around 6 p.m. Thursday at Old Mill Road and Mona Bell Court, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside Police Department.

Peraza was described as 5-foot, 9-inch tall, weighing 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, a black hat with white writing and gray shoes. Peraza was believed to have been on foot, according to the CHP.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts was urged to call 911.

The Silver Alert program was established by CHP to coordinate alerts for unexplained or suspicious disappearances of the elderly, developmentally disabled, or cognitively impaired people.
