Walker suffered extensive mental anguish in the months leading up to the fatal shooting, according to the California Post, which said it spoke to the woman's brother-in-law, Paul Min.

An eerie video obtained by CBS but not aired, after the company said it was too horrifying to play on the air, appears to capture the shooting, followed by a man crying and screaming.

"My sister was utterly devoted to Bryan to the very end, and he shot her,” Paul Min told the California Post. "She didn’t say anything harsh to him. She just said, 'Bryan, you’ve been sick. It’s my fault, I should have known better. I should have known you were in a crisis..'"

The couple's fashion company, Byrn Walker, was founded in Berkeley in 1992.
