• Burlingame, CA: Caltrain Service Disrupted After Vehicle Hit by Southbound Train (theunionstar.com) — Caltrain commuters in and around Burlingame faced hour-plus delays Wednesday evening after a southbound train hit a car near the Broadway crossing, snarling rush-hour service across the Peninsula. No serious injuries were initially reported, but the crash renewed concerns about safety at the Broadway at-grade crossing and added pressure for faster grade-separation improvements along the corridor.
