• Trial Date Set for Man Accused of Murdering Hemet Housemate (mynewsla.com) — A Hemet murder suspect was tracked down and arrested in a Cabazon parking lot after a 2022 shooting that killed his housemate in Hemet. A Riverside County judge has now set his trial for June 23, with charges including murder, attempted murder, and assault on a police dog that was injured but later recovered.
