• Neuralia Fire near California City grows to over 1,196 acres with no containment reported (turnto23.com) — A fast-moving wildfire just outside California City has already burned more than 1,196 acres with zero containment reported, and officials have closed Neuralia Road between Phillips and Red Rock Randsburg. Crews say the Neuralia Fire began as two separate blazes, quickly spread east in strong winds, and briefly threatened several structures. Multiple aircraft are now attacking the fire as authorities track its rapid growth.
