• COPS BRIEFS: Man arrested for parole violation (ivpressonline.com) — Calipatria police recently arrested a 22-year-old man on South International Boulevard in connection with an alleged unauthorized entry into a dwelling, and he is being held on bail at Imperial County Jail. The same regional crime roundup also reports separate arrests in Brawley and El Centro for alleged parole, probation, and drug-related violations.
