• Cambria reviews zero liquid discharge pilot results and long-term disposal options (newtimesslo.com) — Cambria’s Water Reclamation Facility is at a crossroads as the CCSD weighs an expensive but promising zero liquid discharge technology against continued brine trucking and a possible future San Simeon ocean outfall. After a successful pilot that the district currently can’t afford without outside funding, officials are pursuing grants while residents push for clearer data and appeals over the facility’s coastal permit move toward a June 16 hearing.
