Cockroaches Force Closure Of Eataly Restaurant In NorCal: Inspection Report
The restaurant reopened two days later following remediation, according to SFGate.
SAN JOSE, CA — A restaurant in the San Jose Eataly location was recently shut down by the Santa Clara County health department after cockroaches were found in the kitchen, according to an inspection report.
The inspection, conducted on Friday at Terra in the 2800 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard, found live and dead cockroaches on the wall above the hand-wash sink, the report from the Department of Environmental Health said, and the restaurant was ordered to close.
Terra had reopened by Sunday afternoon, Sarah Conboy, communications manager for Eataly North America, told SFGate.
