<h2>🌕 Sunset Reset: Somatics &amp; Sound</h2>
As the sun begins to set over the fields at Heirloom East Bay, join us for an evening of movement, rest, and resonance beneath the open sky.
This 90-minute immersive experience begins with gentle somatic and grounding movement to help release tension, reconnect to the body, and regulate the nervous system. From there, you’ll be guided into a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra meditation before settling into an immersive sound bath designed to invite stillness, softening, and deep rest.
Surrounded by nature, animals, fresh air, and the quiet rhythm of the farm, this is an invitation to slow down, tune inward, and reconnect — with yourself, your breath, and the land beneath you.
What might become clearer when you give yourself permission to pause? What can you notice when you stop trying to figure everything out?
Whether you are seeking calm, clarity, restoration, or simply a pause from the pace of daily life, this evening is designed to help you reset and return home to yourself.

• Yoga mat • Blanket and/or pillow for comfort • Water bottle • Journal (optional, for personal reflection) • Layers are encouraged, as evenings on the farm can cool down
A limited number of extra pillows will be available.
Come settle into the pasture, soften your nervous system, and experience the medicine of movement, stillness, sound, and land.

<h2>Something New Is Coming to the Bay Area: A Christian Comic Con</h2>
Superheroes, cosplay, gaming, artists—and faith?
They’re all coming together at Koinonia Con, the Bay Area’s first Christian comic convention, happening October 24 from 10am-5pm.
Created through a collaboration of churches from across the Bay Area, Koinonia Con is a family-friendly gathering for people who love comics, gaming, anime, cosplay, art and pop culture. More importantly, it will be a place to connect those interests with faith and meaningful community.
With the theme “Faith. Fellowship. Fandom.”, the convention will feature Artist Alley that will showcase 30+ local artists, gaming tournaments and demonstrations, cosplay, guest speakers and panel discussions (among them is the illustrator of the Action Bible), mental wellness conversations and workshops, food trucks, and opportunities to meet other fans and creators.
The idea behind Koinonia Con is simple: people often build some of their strongest connections around the things they love.
Koinonia&nbsp;is a Greek word describing fellowship and shared community, and organizers hope the convention creates exactly that: a welcoming place where people from different churches, cities and backgrounds can meet, create, have fun, and build friendships.
Whether you're an artist, gamer, cosplayer, comic collector, parent bringing your kids, or simply curious about how faith and fandom can intersect, Koinonia Con invites you to come experience something new.
