• Semi-truck crashes into 210 Fwy center divider, blocking lanes on both sides in Claremont (abc7.com) — A semi-truck crash on the 210 Freeway in Claremont early Monday shut down multiple lanes in both directions near Baseline Road, snarling traffic for commuters. CHP reported oil spilled on the roadway, several key lanes remained closed until further notice, and the truck driver was hospitalized, so plan alternate routes around the 210 through Claremont. 
• Robert Day Sciences Center team earns multiple excellence awards (cmc.edu) — Claremont residents can take pride in Claremont McKenna College's Robert Day Sciences Center, which has just added an Engineering News-Record West Award of Merit to several recent honors. • Samantha Bosco, Kate Brim lead U.S. titlists at home World Para Road Cycling Championships (nbcsports.com) — Claremont resident Samantha Bosco continued her dominance in para-cycling, winning both the women's C4 time trial and road race at the World Para Road Cycling Championships in Huntsville, Alabama. The 39-year-old, already a Paralympic gold medalist, has now swept these events at multiple world championships, bringing more international recognition to Claremont's athletic community.
