Concord Springs Giant Park Party

CONCORD, CA — Crowds will take over Todos Santos Plaza this weekend as Concord hosts the Bay Area SpringFest, a free, daylong event that turns the city’s central park into a packed marketplace, concert space, and food hub.

Organizers will open the festival at noon Saturday and run programming through 7 p.m., drawing residents from across Contra Costa County and beyond into the downtown core.

Live bands will rotate across a central stage, filling the plaza with music as attendees move between vendor rows and food stands. Around a dozen food sellers will serve a mix of cuisines, while a beer and wine garden will pour drinks from regional producers.

Vendors will line the plaza and surrounding streets, with more than 100 booths offering handmade goods, jewelry, clothing, plants, and home items. Small businesses will dominate the marketplace, using the event to reach new customers during one of the area’s busiest spring weekends.

Families will spread blankets across the lawn as children move through free activity zones set up throughout the park. Open seating and shaded areas will give the event a drop-in feel, with people arriving and leaving throughout the afternoon.

Organizers say early arrivals may receive free goodie bags while supplies last, and some attendees will enter raffles tied to advance registration or on-site donations.

The festival blends a neighborhood block party with a regional draw, turning a downtown green space into a dense, all-day gathering built around music, food, and small business commerce.
