As of 6 a.m. Thursday, PG&E said that 61,000 customers across Northern California were without power as part of its largest PSPS in eight years, according to KCRA. In the Tri-Valley, highs are expected to approach 90 degrees, with gusts of 25-35 mph expected in the hills. Winds could reach as high as 45 mph along exposed ridges.

Winds are expected to increase Thursday night into Friday morning, and humidity may decrease, according to the National Weather Service.
