An event destination: Visit Tri-Valley pushes bold vision to transform region – but not everybody is all-in on the $365M project (danvillesanramon.com) — A proposed $364.5 million regional event center in Dublin could eventually be funded partly through new taxes and fees on visitor-serving businesses in Danville, Pleasanton, Dublin, and Livermore. Local leaders are weighing potential economic benefits against concerns about using future tax revenues and assessments to support what would largely be a privately used venue.
