1. Scarecrow Stroll Returns To Danville (patch.com) — Danville's popular Scarecrow Stroll is back, with 55 local businesses displaying creatively decorated scarecrows through Nov. 1. Residents and visitors can follow an online map, vote for their favorite display, and take advantage of special offers from participating Danville shops.
   

2. Danville Breaks Ground on New Stage for Music and Art Town of Danville (opgov.news) — Downtown Danville's Town Green is getting a permanent performance pavilion and a new Art District Makers Space near the library, with construction now underway. Funded through the town's capital program, the $3.8 million project will add a covered stage, art classrooms, and a pottery kiln, with phased openings leading up to an anticipated unveiling in spring 2027.
