Diamond Bar Offers Incentive To Buy Local For National Sandwich Day
The initiative encourages residents to shop locally while offering an incentive.
DIAMOND BAR, CA — Diamond Bar residents can celebrate National Sandwich Day and support local businesses by earning 10% back in rewards on purchases at participating restaurants starting Nov. 2, the city announced Wednesday.
The promotion is available Nov. 2 through Nov. 8 and includes six restaurants in Diamond Bar: Farmer Boys, International Deli, Jimmy John's, Popeyes, Subway and Vista Pointe Deli, the city said.
The initiative encourages residents to shop locally while offering an incentive to visit participating restaurants during the weeklong promotion.

To participate, customers must download the Open Rewards: Shop Local app and create an account. They can then link a payment card or submit a photo of their receipt to earn 10% back in rewards on eligible purchases, the city said.
