Diamond Bar To Replenish Compost At Sycamore Canyon Park Every Thursday
Materials are provided on a self-service basis and replenished as needed, the city said.
DIAMOND BAR, CA — The City of Diamond Bar will replenish compost every Thursday at the Compost and Mulch Station at Sycamore Canyon Park until further notice, giving residents continued access to free materials for gardening and landscaping, the city announced on Monday.
Compost is a soil amendment that adds nutrients to flower beds and vegetable gardens. Free compost and mulch are generally available year-round to Diamond Bar residents at Sycamore Canyon Park during regular park hours, from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset, according to the city's website.
Materials are provided on a self-service basis and replenished as needed. There is no limit on the amount residents may take, but the city asks visitors to collect only what they need.
