• Man killed 2 people at nursing home in span of 30 minutes (lawandcrime.com) — Residents in Diamond Bar are learning more about the life-without-parole sentence given to caregiver Jianchun Li, who murdered two elderly women at the Happy Homes Care assisted living facility in 2023. Prosecutors say he killed both residents in the same bathroom during an overnight shift, and the district attorney emphasized that the verdict aims to bring some closure to the Diamond Bar community.
