• Burgeoning designers learn from one of the industry's most iconic fashionistas: Barbie (asu.edu) — Young fashion students recently toured Mattel’s Design Center in El Segundo, getting a close-up look at how Barbie and fashion brand Edikted support emerging designers. The ASU FIDM summer camp mixed hands-on sewing projects with panels from industry pros, including Barbie’s lead designer. Scholarships from Barbie and Edikted helped more Los Angeles and Phoenix students access this behind-the-scenes experience.
