Blessing of the Animals event
This Sunday, November 1st
2:00 - 4:00 pm
Founders Hall patio.
Our pets bring so much joy, comfort, and unconditional love into our lives. Let’s celebrate them! All are welcome to our community Blessing of the Animals.
Whether you have a dog, cat, bird, or lizard, we want to celebrate the special bond you share.
We will have a short blessing ceremony, bluegrass music with a live band, refreshments for pets and their owners, and plenty of fellowship.
There will be a "quiet space" for our more socially challenged fur friends.
Bring your friendly pets on a leash or in a carrier - or bring or email a photo of your pet to put on our Blessing Bulletin Board. Stuffed Animals are also welcome to receive a blessing.
- If your pet can't come in person, please bring or forward a photo and include your pet's name to: admin@encinitaschurch.com
- If inclement weather, the event will be moved inside
