• Exeter invests in Independence Celebration (thesungazette.com) — Exeter residents can look forward to fully funded Independence Celebrations in 2026 and 2027, after the City Council committed $10,000 per year to the Exeter Lions Club. The 2026 event, marking the club’s 80th celebration and America’s 250th anniversary, is planned for July 3 at Dobson Field and will be free to the public.
