• ‘We Ain't Going to Stop Until We Bring Her Home': Family Continues Search for Chantel ‘CiCi' Brooks More Than 70 Days After Disappearance (shinemycrown.com) — A Fairfield family is still urgently searching for 37-year-old Chantel “CiCi” Brooks, last seen July 17 near the CVS on East Travis Boulevard and later searched for along Ledgewood Creek Trail. More than 70 days later, relatives are organizing searches, pleading for tips, and asking anyone with information to contact Fairfield police as they push to bring her home.
   

• Heat advisory for Northern California from Saturday to Monday (sacbee.com) — Fairfield is under a National Weather Service heat advisory from late Saturday morning through Monday night, with highs expected between 94 and 100 degrees and moderate to major heat risk. Residents are urged to stay hydrated, avoid peak afternoon sun, check on vulnerable neighbors, and limit strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest hours.
