(sacbee.com) — Folsom is moving forward with a $5.7 million upgrade to about 80 traffic signals, aiming to ease congestion and boost safety across key corridors and new growth areas south of Highway 50. New controllers, sensors, video monitoring, and fiber links will let city staff adjust timing in real time and support faster, better-informed emergency responses and future safety planning.
