• Paul Cooper named chief of UC Irvine Police Department (uci.edu) — UC Irvine has appointed Paul Cooper as its new police chief, and he'll oversee public safety at UCI Health medical centers including those serving Fountain Valley residents. His role includes coordinating patrols, emergency management, and partnerships with nearby communities to support safer campuses and clinics across Orange County.
