• Fremont Adopts 'ICE-Free Zones' Resolution For City Property (patch.com) — Fremont has unanimously approved a new resolution declaring all city-owned or controlled properties "ICE-free zones," building on its existing sanctuary city status. The measure responds to recent unannounced ICE activity in places like the Sundale neighborhood and the police station, and will add signage and Know Your Rights materials while officials study whether to later strengthen protections through a full ordinance.
