Bull causes traffic chaos on Highway 35 before cowboy helps wrangle it (amedpost.com) — A runaway bull shut down parts of Highway 35 in San Mateo County until a seasoned cowboy, Samuel Ramos Palomino, helped officers safely corral and trailer the animal. For protecting motorists, first responders, and nearby communities, he was later thanked in person by the Coastside Patrol Bureau captain and the Half Moon Bay city manager, underscoring local reliance on community partners for safety.
4. High School football tour: Day 15: Pacific Grove (modbee.com) — Pacific Grove High's football team is trying to shake a pattern of strong starts and late‑season collapses under new head coach Jay Ehret, and Half Moon Bay is on their early schedule.
