Led by Compassion Coordinator and death doula Taya Levine at the Healdsburg Senior Center, the pilot offers monthly workshops, conversation circles, and one-on-one guidance, with strong turnout already shaping future topics and expanded services for local families.
   

• Local Ventures: The Unlikely Story Behind A Wine Country Farm Stand (patch.com) — A young farmer has turned 10 acres in Alexander Valley and along Westside Road into a thriving operation that now includes a farm stand just outside Healdsburg and a regular presence at the Healdsburg Farmers Market. After starting on a few rented acres, he expanded through local connections and reopened his roadside stand this year with family help, offering fresh seasonal produce Thursday through Sunday afternoons.
   

• $20k split 3 ways in Arts for All grants (healdsburgtribune.com) — Healdsburg's Arts & Culture Commission has awarded $20,000 in inaugural Arts for All grants to three free, public projects, including the new River Dreams mural at Russian Riverkeeper. Sonoma Art School will create an interactive flip‑book sculpture with the Healdsburg Regional Library, while Heartizens launches a community Street Puppet Brigade for local celebrations, all aimed at broadening everyday access to the arts.
