1. 2 killed, 3 others injured in 3-vehicle collision near Hemet on the Ramona Expressway (sbsun.com) — A three-vehicle collision at Ramona Expressway and Lincoln Avenue near Hemet killed a Hemet man and a boy and injured three others, including an 18-year-old Hemet woman. The California Highway Patrol is still determining fault after the Nissan Versa spun into oncoming traffic and struck a Ford Mustang Mach‑E.

Father and son killed, another son hurt after fire engine crash in Riverside County (cbsnews.com) — Two members of a Hemet family were killed and a young boy injured when a Cal Fire/Riverside County fire engine responding to the Cranston Fire collided with their Mini Cooper at State Street and Domenigoni Parkway. Relatives are mourning father Arthur Fernandez and his 10‑year‑old son while questioning how the crash happened, as CHP continues investigating the deadly June 5 collision.
