• Update: 75% containment reached for Desavado Fire in Siskiyou County (sacbee.com) — A small wildfire near Ager and Hornbrook, dubbed the Desavado Fire, has burned about 22 acres but is already 75% contained as of Thursday morning. Cal Fire crews, engines, water tenders, and air tankers remain on scene, strengthening control lines while investigators work to determine what sparked the blaze. Residents should stay alert for changing conditions but can take some reassurance from the strong containment progress.
