Officers are asking residents to report dangerous driving when it’s safe, stressing that community tips can help prevent serious injuries before they happen. 
• Indio residents can now report potholes, graffiti and more from their phone (nbcpalmsprings.com) — Indio residents can now report graffiti, potholes, illegal dumping and other neighborhood problems straight from their phones using the new My Indio app. You can snap a photo, mark the exact location, submit it to city staff, and then track progress until it’s fixed, giving you a faster, easier way to get issues handled without calling or visiting City Hall.
• Indio Police: Search for Motorist Involved in Restaurant Hit-and-Run Underway (mynewsla.com) — Indio police are investigating after a pickup truck slammed into Burger Box on Indio Boulevard early Sunday, causing major damage but no reported injuries, and then left the scene. The vehicle’s apparent owner later told officers a relative may have taken the truck, while the restaurant remains closed and has launched a GoFundMe to help cover repair costs.
