Deputies say multiple suspects entered the residence, attacked the women, and tried unsuccessfully to drag one victim outside before fleeing. Investigators later made arrests at two separate Indio locations and are still seeking more information.

Panel rejects Oasis at Indio development; city council to decide (desertsun.com) — A massive mixed-use project called Oasis at Indio, proposed for north Indio near I-10, has been rejected by the city’s planning commission but now heads to the city council for a final decision.
