• Lafayette Rock the Plaza (contracosta.news) — Downtown Lafayette is hosting free Rock the Plaza concerts on Friday evenings in June, with local bands performing from 6–8 p.m. at Lafayette Plaza. Bring chairs, blankets, and a picnic as the lawn fills up early, and mark your calendar for the 2026 Lafayette Art & Wine Festival on September 19–20, also in downtown Lafayette.
   

• Want To Make Lafayette Downtown More Walkable? Here's A Committee For You (patch.com) — Lafayette is forming a new Multi-Modal Mobility Advisory Committee to help shape the Mt. Diablo Boulevard Corridor Multimodal Mobility Plan and make downtown safer and easier to navigate without a car. The city is seeking three at-large community members to review concepts, weigh tradeoffs, and advise on related transportation and urban design projects. Interested residents must apply by June 14, 2026 for the first review cycle.
