Pacific Marine Mammal Center Prepares For Re-Opening After 3 Years

The Pacific Marine Mammal Center is expected to reopen to the public for the first time in three years on Monday.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A Laguna Beach staple is making its public return to the community.

On Monday, Oct. 12, the Pacific Marine Mammal Center will reopen to the public for the first time in three years.

Laguna Beach residents can visit the center and learn about how the center's been expanding their mission and facilities to better serve marine mammal rescue, rehabilitation, research and education.

"Currently, PMMC does not have any animals in-house due to seasonality of rescues," the center said in a statement. "But you can stay updated by visiting 'our patients' on our website."
