Woman Convicted In Hit And Run That Killed Pedestrian In Laguna Beach (patch.com) — A driver has been convicted in the hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in Laguna Beach at South Coast Highway and Pearl Street, bringing long-awaited resolution to a 2022 tragedy. Jurors found the 22-year-old guilty of gross vehicular manslaughter and related charges, and she now faces sentencing in November for the collision that also injured the victim's wife.
