• Festival of Arts opens 091826 (stunewslaguna.com) — Laguna Beach's Festival of Arts is opening artist applications now for its 95th anniversary Fine Art Show, which will run June 27–August 27, 2027 in the city's outdoor gallery setting. Orange County artists 18 and older can apply by October 30, 2026, submitting digital images, a jury fee, and proof of residency for a chance to exhibit and sell their work to thousands of summer visitors.

Her family is speaking publicly about the loss, while Uber disputes being held legally responsible but says its thoughts remain with the family.
