• Miner golfers continue impressive season with win over Placer (theunion.com) — Nevada Union’s boys golf team is leaning on Lake Wildwood Golf Course as one of its home bases while rolling through an impressive 2026 season. The Miners’ A-team just beat Placer at Black Oak in Auburn, and coach Christopher Buti credits both Lake Wildwood and Nevada County Country Club for giving players competitive, well-supported home courses to grow their skills.
