Firefighter Injured In Blaze That Engulfed Home, Storage Facility And Commercial Building In Perris

PERRIS, CA — A two-alarm fire that engulfed a Perris home and spread to a nearby storage facility and commercial structure on Tuesday afternoon injured a firefighter and left three people displaced.

The fire was reported at 4:33 p.m. in the 300 block of E. 3rd Street.

The blaze began at a single-family, single-story home before spreading to the other buildings.

One firefighter sustained minor injuries battling the blaze and was transported to a local hospital.

Three adults were displaced, and the Red Cross was requested to help.

The fire was contained, but crews were expected to remain at the scene into the evening.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
