📰 News we're reading

• Lake Elsinore data center moratorium extended (pressenterprise.com) — Lake Elsinore's City Council has extended its temporary ban on new data centers for another 10 months and 15 days, giving staff time to tighten rules on power, water use, and neighborhood impacts. While no projects are currently proposed in the city, officials say the pause protects residents as they study how large server facilities elsewhere have affected utilities, pollution, and quality of life.
