• State funds study on Willits Corridor, Lake County ferry (ukiahdailyjournal.com) — Lakeport could eventually see ferry service on Clear Lake thanks to nearly $180,000 in new state planning funds for a feasibility study that includes the city as a key partner. The grant will examine using the lake to connect communities, cut emissions, support evacuations, and boost tourism, while a separate award funds a Willits Highway 20 corridor study.
