• Lakewood, CA: False Bomb Threat Sparks Lockdown at Lakewood High School (theunionstar.com) — A false bomb threat triggered a several-hour lockdown at Lakewood High School on Thursday, bringing sheriff’s deputies, bomb dogs, drones, and detectives to the campus until it was fully cleared around 2 p.m. Classes and meal services ultimately resumed, but students and staff endured a tense, disruptive morning as officials followed safety protocols to ensure there was no real danger.
