• It's official: Coronado is the newest addition to San Diego Community Power – San Diego Union-Tribune (sandiegouniontribune.com) — La Mesa residents are already part of San Diego Community Power, the regional program that buys electricity and aims to offer higher renewable content at competitive rates. With Coronado now joining, the agency grows but officials say existing customers, including those in La Mesa, should not see negative impacts and can still opt out to stay solely with SDG&E generation if they prefer.
