• Lost Cause Meadery Owners Planning New Restaurant and Coffee Project (whatnow.com) — A new 5,000-square-foot restaurant and coffee spot is planned for 8495 La Mesa Blvd., bringing wood-fired meals, a full bar, and kid-friendly space to the corridor between the Village and MacArthur Park. Backed by Lost Cause Meadery, Oddish Wine, and Bica, the project continues La Mesa's recent boom in food and drink options and is slated to open by late 2027.
