The Struggle for Mother Water with Q&A and Reception with the Filmmaker
Event Details

The Struggle for Mother Water explores the many disturbing dimensions of the global water crisis, how women worldwide are leading the fight to protect and defend water, for their families, their communities, for all of creation.
Over the course of 219 days, traveling to 21 countries, filmmaker Michael Zelniker platforms the stories of those on the frontlines, uplifting those whose voices too often go unheard.
After premiering at the Berlin International Film Festival, it then screened at the Taormina Film Festival where Zelniker was recognized with a Special Sustainability Award.
The Lark Theater will be hosting a special screening of Episodes 1 & 6 of the 8-part docuseries on August 30th during which time Zelniker will be in attendance, discussing his work on the documentary along with sharing information about the Mother Water Fund, the 501c3 charitable organization, that was inspired by the making of The Struggle for Mother Water.
