• Lemon Grove DUI Checkpoint Set for Saturday Night (santeepulse.com) — Drivers in Lemon Grove should be aware that sheriff's deputies will run a DUI checkpoint somewhere in town from 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, to 2 a.m. Sunday. The operation targets all forms of impairment, including alcohol, marijuana, and certain medications, and officials urge residents to plan sober rides and report suspected drunk drivers to 911.
