Livermore Hosting 'Get Ready To Vote' Party Downtown

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore Indivisible is hosting a Get Ready to Vote party at Livermorium Plaza, the group announced. The event will take place at Livermorium Plaza Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Attendees can register to vote, check the status of their voter registration, learn more about local races, learn different ballot drop-off locations, and receive nonpartisan literature about the 14 state propositions on the ballot.

In California, the deadline to register online to be able to vote in the November election is Oct. 19. If voters miss it, they can still conditionally register and vote in person through Election Day. Counties must begin mailing ballots by Oct. 5 to active registered voters.
