Man Killed, 2 Women Shot In Long Beach: Police

LONG BEACH, CA — A man was killed and two women were shot overnight in Long Beach, according to police.

Officers responded shortly after midnight Sunday to the 3200 block of Caspian Avenue, police said. They arrived to find the man and women all suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to police.

The victims were taken to the hospital, police said, adding the man died, but the women were in stable condition.

The shooter or shooters fled the scene before officers arrived, according to police.

"The motive and the circumstances of the incident are under investigation," the Long Beach Police Department said in a news release.
